Arcade Fire are recording a new album

Canadian musicians are working on new material at DFA Records in New York. “These guys know very well what exactly they need, so no producer in the usual sense of the word has almost no meaning for them. I just had no idea what I would do with them in the studio. However, their new songs turned out to be so good that a complete understanding was immediately established between me and the group, and I felt like an absolutely free person. I am sure that their new album will be extremely successful, and I look forward to the day when it will be released,” said James Murphy, one of the producers of the upcoming Arcade Fire album. Arcade Fire have already performed several songs from the new album at their concerts. Their previous work called "The Suburbs", which caused huge interest in the group around the world, was released in 2010.

Ringo Starr to release e-book with unknown photos of The Beatles

The book, titled Photograph, will consist of Ringo's own photographs taken in Liverpool during his childhood and a large number of The Beatles' photographs of their journey to worldwide recognition. “These are exactly the pictures that only I saw myself,” said Ringo Starr. The book will be released on June 12 and will also be available on the iBookstore. Some of the photographs will be featured in the Ringo: Peace & Love exhibition dedicated to Ringo Starr. The exhibition will open at the Grammy Museum in early June.
