How do you intend to overcome the municipal filter?
I will use all the possibilities to break through the filter. It is necessary to create a precedent. Now I already have 30 municipal deputies who are ready to put a signature for me. The work is in full swing: we are looking for email addresses and phone numbers of deputies - this is not so easy, because a single base does not exist. I will contact everyone - the deputies do not necessarily be opposition. They can be neutral, there are even people who are ready to support me from United Russia. We will hold meetings in the districts. Just at Echo of Moscow, I announced my phone, on which I ask you to call deputies and those who can chat with deputies on this topic. I have consultations with different parties to help those who will not exhibit their candidates. For example, the party “Democratic Choice of Russia” has already agreed to help. I am ready to negotiate with some mayor's candidates to conduct a campaign together - we need one signature from one area, which means that in the same area the second deputy can give his signature for another independent candidate. I will not yet name the names of the candidate with whom I am negotiating, but, of course, this is not Sobyanin. This is an independent opposition candidate, I think you guessed who.
What result do you expect if you pass the municipal filter?
It would be naive to count on the fact that I will win in the first round. But I will focus all efforts in order to take second place in the first round and compete with Sobyanin in the second round.
There are assumptions that you will be supported by the former mayor Yuri Luzhkov.
I have not had contacts with him from the moment of his resignation and even before that. I heard that he was negotiating with Prokhorov, with whom some members of the Luzhkov government work. For example, Mikhail Vyshegodtsev, who led the metropolitan Department of Supervision of Small Business under Luzhkov, is now a man of Prokhorov - he heads the Moscow branch of the Civil Platform. If Luzhkov supports me, I will not mind, I don’t see anything wrong with this. Although we had a lot of disagreements with him.
Why didn't the opposition put up a single candidate?
We were not given time to agree on this issue. They announced the elections suddenly, and Navalny was the first to say that he would run for without any consultations. I do not blame him in any case, but what happened, it happened. He stated this and thereby excluded the option of some agreements with other politicians. But it's okay, all the same, the filter must be overcome - let's see who will pass it. Even if several opposition politicians participate in the first round, this is not scary. The main thing is that they do not scold each other very much, and concentrate all the energy on the candidate from the authorities, then the opportunity to ensure the second round.
