Yaroslavl CPE discovered extremism in the drawings of Andrei Biljo, which illustrated the program of the party of Mikhail Prokhorov "Civil Platform". This was reported by the local portal "Home City" with reference to the head of the regional executive committee of the party Mikhail Pisaryz.

On June 7, police officers detained two civilian platform activists in Yaroslavl who distributed a party program. The brochures were seized, and Pisaryz was called for interrogation in the CPE. During the interrogation, he was informed that the party’s program was examined for extremism in it. The operative noted to the text itself, the security forces have no complaints, but illustrations and signatures to them raise questions.

Biljo gained wide fame with his caricatures. Their main character is the satirical character Petrovich. The artist worked for 16 years as a cartoonist in Kommersant, and then almost five in Izvestia. Now he publishes his drawings and texts on the blog on the website of Echo of Moscow, as well as in the magazines "Amateur" and "Russian Pioneer". The author of a number of books.

The member of the "Civil Platform" is the mayor of Yaroslavl Evgeny Urlashov, who is in conflict with deputies of the regional Duma from United Russia. In April, it became known that Urlashov twice rejected the proposal of Governor Sergei Yastrebov to enter the first three of the EP list in the coming elections to the regional Duma in September, as well as ensure the victory of the Party of power in these elections. At the same time, the mayor of Yaroslavl noted, in case of consent, he was promised to allocate “significant funds from federal programs” to the city budget, and in the case of refusal - on the contrary, to deprive the regional financing center.

On May 28, the court ordered Urlashov to pay the regional Duma to the unicorn Ilya Osipov 20 thousand rubles of compensation for the statement, discrediting the honor and dignity of the latter. Such a statement was considered the phrase of the mayor that Osipov "forgot to pay 22 million rubles to the city’s budget for the land that the city provided him."
