Members of the Constituent Congress of the ONF began to discuss the manifest and the charter of the movement.

- So we emphasize that we are playing for Russia. For our country, homeland. For the true, great, powerful Russia! The front - for, the front - do not mind! For the past, present, future. The Popular Front is a state of mind, which will pay attention to and adopt experience. In the United States, for example, an organization was created with similar goals. But they are for our own, and we are for Russia! - choking in words and vigorously gesturing, explained the head of the working group to discuss the charter Andrei Bocharov. His speech inspired delegates for word -making:

- I propose my name: "The Popular Front - for the Great - with a capital letter - Russia!" What do we all want? For Russia to be great! - The elderly member of the forum shocked the constituent documents.

- Not so! The Popular Front - for the great and multinational Russia! -shouted the delegate, introduced himself as a "member of the city committee with 20 years of experience."

Discussion - it was June 11 - went in the working area of ​​the ONF congress (the Manezh exhibition center, fenced off from the Great Foyea glass, acted as the Arena. The meeting was closed, journalists and guests were not allowed on it, and they sadly crowded outside, applying lenses to the glass and releasing comments like Kunstkamera and Terrarium. “The delegates of the congress were awarded the draft charter and manifesto at the entrance, we see these documents for the first time. People read from the sheet, thoughts come spontaneously, ”explained the New Times what was happening in the working area, Vladimir Zubov, chairman of the board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Pskov region.

The congress ruled that the Popular Front should consist of the Central Headquarters with 53 members and three co -chairs, the executive committee, led by the Hero of Russia Andrei Bocharov and the Audit Commission, headed by deputy Vyacheslav Lysakov. According to Andrei Bocharov, regional committees will be formed until August 25, in September, documents will be submitted for registration with the Ministry of Justice.

Cardiac surgeon Sergey Sukhanov (he is 60 years old), who has done 1600 operations in his life, has been dreaming of a federal cardiocenter in Perm for five years, the head of which was promised to appoint him. The center has been built since 2008, the deadlines are constantly transferred. “I have never been engaged in politics, I am a professor,” says Dr. Sukhanov, “we are building a center in Perm by decision of Putin, so I got involved in all this, into ONF.”

The coordinator of the ONF campaign headquarters from Tyumen, a geologist, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Melnikov would like the ONF to contribute to the implementation of the project of the production of new building material, “Diano”. Former Stavropol journalist Olga Timofeeva is grateful to the ONF for being elected as a deputy of the State Duma (as another 82 ONF members became in 2011). “In a dream, I could not dream that I could become a deputy,” she told The New Times. - Two years ago, I was the same ordinary journalist as you. What will happen to the party in power? Andrei Bocharov answered this question: “There are proposals to limit the number of members of“ United Russia ”in ONF - they say, let's, so that Osra is no more than 10 %. No one is going to limit anyone! If there are worthy people from there, will we lose from this? "

In order not to scare away possible supporters, the Popular Front will not participate in the regional elections on September 8: “We decided not to force the creation of the ONF branches where the elections will be - exactly in order not to get into the pre -election context so that there is no wrender,” the new ONF source explained to The New Times. However, Dmitry Oreshkin believes that it will not do without dirt, because the whole idea of ​​the front is built precisely on negative rhetoric: “ONF was called the front for nothing,” says Oreshkin. -Putin’s rating is falling, the gingerbread cookies are over, because intimidation and the image of the enemy are the perverts, Navalny, the Americans, who are about to capture Russia. They will chase enemies with the whole front, ”he summed up.
