Two girls were detained for hugging in the St. Petersburg metro

Two girls hugging were detained in the St. Petersburg metro at the request of indignant passengers, Piter.tv reports, citing eyewitnesses.

Two girls were riding in an embrace in a St. Petersburg metro car. The passengers demanded that they stop hugging, to which they refused. Then the passengers reported what was happening to the train driver via loudspeaker.

The train was stopped at the nearest station, and the metro police were called. Passengers were asked to leave the carriage in which the girls were traveling in connection with the operation to detain them. What happened next is unknown.

On June 11, the State Duma finally approved the law on fines for “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations” among minors. For violators of the law, fines are provided: from 4 thousand to 5 thousand rubles - for individuals, from 40 thousand to 50 thousand rubles - for officials, from 800 thousand to 1 million rubles - for legal entities, or administrative suspension of activities for up to 90 days.
