Siberian MP proposes allowing Cossacks to whip gays with whips

Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Trans-Baikal Territory Alexander Mikhailov proposes to legally allow paratroopers and Cossacks to use corporal punishment against gays, reports Chita.Ru .

“I want to urge people to have a sensible view of this shame. It is necessary to pass a law in the region according to which paratroopers have the right to grab gays and drag them to the square, where the Cossacks will whip them with whips,” Mikhailov said.

He also noted that, in his opinion, same-sex relationships are the source of a lot of problems related to the country's defense capability, demographic situation and sexual crimes.
