A teenage drug addict shot his father with a gun in the Irkutsk region
The police are establishing the circumstances of the murder of a 50-year-old resident of the Kuitunsky district of the Irkutsk region, in which his 16-year-old son is suspected, the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported on Monday.
“The tragedy occurred on Sunday in the village of Panagino, 87 km from the regional center. The suspect was detained on the same day,” the report says.
According to police, the teenager took a single-barreled hunting rifle from a closet and shot his parent in the head while he was sleeping. Now the criminal investigation officers are finding out the motives of his action.
It is noted that the teenager is registered with the juvenile department for drug use.
