Mosgorizbirk intends to check all the signatures collected by self -nominates

The Mosgorizbirk made an unprecedented decision to carry out a continuous verification of voter signatures collected by self -nominates, Kommersant reports . In previous years, the commission was limited to checking 20 percent of signatures.

Such a decision in the election commission is explained by the upcoming elections to the city parliament. “Let us practice and recall the verification technology, because the next year is large elections to the Moscow City Duma,” said the head of the commission Valentin Gorbunov. “Moreover, new territories have appeared.”

MGIK will have to check more than 80 thousand signatures for each of the candidates, since the law can submit an additional 10 percent of the signatures. To date, 16 self -nominates participate in the mayor’s elections. Among them, the temporarily acting mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

Member of Mgika Vyacheslav Dunaev explained to the publication that if the signatures collect more than five to seven candidates, then the percentage of the audit will be reduced. According to him, a working group of 14 members of the election commission was created to check the signatures. They will view the signatures personally for ten days. In case of doubt, they will contact the Federal Migration Service to verify the passport data.

The expert of the Voice association Arkady Lyubarev called the rationale for Mgik about the Moscow City Duma "strange." In his opinion, the only logical explanation of a continuous check is the PR action of Sobyanin. “It is impossible to check this number in a short time,” said Lyubarev. “But since Sobyanin will be registered, they will not seriously check and will not.” Applicant Candidate Sergei Mitrokhin also called the PR frame called to show that Sobyanin has “perfect” signatures.

The coordinator of the Council of Municipal Deputies, Mikhail Velmakin, believes that the Mosizbirk is working out the mechanisms of weming "undesirable" candidates in future elections. “They can be safe in the elections to the Moscow City Duma and to attack the single -mandate, checking all 100 percent. On Monday, the Mosgorisbirk refused to accept the documents of the coordinator of the Left Front Sergey Udaltsov, who is under house arrest. The Mosgorizbirk insists on the personal submission of documents by Udaltsov himself, despite the fact that the leadership of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Moscow is ready to assure his signature. The TFR has not yet responded to Udaltsov’s petition for the personal submission of documents for the nomination. "Thus, the Mosgorisbirk and the UK deliberately interfere with Udaltsov’s participation in the elections of the mayor of Moscow," the politician said in the microblog.

To date, about 25 candidates submitted documents to participate in the election of the Moscow Mayor. Among them are a member of the Coordinating Council of the opposition Alexei Navalny, nominated by the RPR-Parnas, Sergey Mitrokhin from the Yabloko party, Mikhail Degtyarev from the LDPR, candidate from the Volya party Svetlana Peunov, Ivan Melnikov from the Communist Party, Nikolai Levich from Fair Russia. Among the self -nominates is the leader of the Rock Group "Metal Corrosion" Sergey Troitsky (Spider) and the coordinator of the "Civil Corps of Emergencies" Alena Popova.

President Vladimir Putin on June 5 signed a decree on the resignation of Sobyanin, who announced the desire to participate in early elections. The elections will be held on a single voting day on September 8.
