Nine Islamists were detained in France

In the south of France, nine Islamists were detained in two days who are suspected of belonging to a group guiding militants to Syria.

As the French Ministry of the Interior reported on Tuesday, among the detainees there are persons who have already performed on the Internet with threats of the Republican institutions of France and the values of its society. The citizenship of the arrested is not reported.

Security forces in France have been working in intensified mode since the introduction of French troops to the north of Mali in January this year to assist the authorities of this country in the fight against rebels associated with Al-Qaeda.
