A criminal case was opened in the Urals on the suicide of a minor girl who was found hanging on the bridge over the river. Before his death, the victim was raped. The girl was attacked when she returned from a festive event on the occasion of graduation by her relative.

A terrible find was made on Tuesday afternoon in one of the villages of the Sysert district of the Sverdlovsk region, the official website of the regional department of the IC of the Russian Federation reports.

A 17-year-old girl was discovered "hanging in a loop on the bridge" across the Boevka River. The victim hanged herself on her own jeans. During the forensic medical examination, it was found that sexual violence was committed against the deceased.

In connection with the incident, a criminal case was instituted under paragraph "a" part 3 of article 131 (rape of a minor), paragraphs "a" part 3 of article 132 (violent acts of a sexual nature in relation to a minor) and Article 110 (bringing to suicide) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to police, the deceased girl arrived in the village to her mother from the Kaslinsky district of the Chelyabinsk region, where she lived with her grandmother.
