Microsoft Corporation carried out “Work on errors” and released a new version of its OS - Windows 8.1.
The Start button appeared in the new system, the absence of which many PC users complained. True, pressing on it does not throw a voluminous context menu, as before, and depending on the system settings, it opens a screen with living tiles or a page with all installed programs for quick launch.
We finalized the search function: now it is looking not only on a computer, but also on the Internet - through Bing and Skydrive.
“Live tiles” in Windows 8.1 can be four, not two, as in Windows 8, sizes. They can now be dragged from one place to another in groups, and not separately. On one screen, it is now allowed to open up to four Metro applications at the same time. The previous version of the system was very “loved” by full -screen applications, which irritated PC users great.So far, of course, we are talking about beta versions. When the final Windows 8.1 appears, has not yet been reported.
