Skyscrapers will be banned in the suburbs

The authorities of the Moscow Region will ban the construction of housing above nine floors, said the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region German Yelyashkin newspaper Vedomosti.

The restrictions will be spelled out in regional urban planning standards. They will affect only those projects, permissions for the implementation of which have not yet been received. The government must approve new norms in July-August.

Now the average number of storeys of development in the Moscow region is 14-17 floors. A story with restrictions, of course, can hurt the developers that will lose a good part of the income. In some cases, the construction of nine -story buildings will be completely unprofitable for them.
