A collection of signatures has begun on social networks for the deprivation of the title “Miss Moldova 2013” from 18-year-old native of Tiraspol (the capital of the unrecognized republic of Transnistria) Valeria Turcan. Vesti.md reports this with reference to the Romanian publication “Adevarul”.

According to the organizers of the campaign, Tsurkan had no right to participate in the beauty contest, since she does not know the state language and introduces herself as a resident of Russia.
