
About 300 bikers on Wednesday held a protest campaign near the seventh department of the traffic police on Pryamikova Street in Moscow, Vesti24 reports. The audience expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of police officers who detained four citizens suspected of hooliganism, RIA Novosti was told in the press service of the capital's head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“The issue of the suspects will be resolved about the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
The conflict between three citizens and a girl-driver arose on the third transport ring on Tuesday evening as a result of an accident. A biker passing by the girl stood up for the girl. The source of the agency in law enforcement agencies previously reported that, according to the bikers who had gathered, after their comrade stood up for the girl, other participants in the accident attacked him.
According to the press service, other bikers soon began to drive up to the scene, but the police did not allow riots. Then more than a hundred bikers went after law enforcement officers to the traffic police department, where an accident was issued.
The incident received wide public publicity after the bikers, which demanded justice, literally took a siege of one of the departments of the metropolitan police. A criminal case of hooliganism has been instituted.
