In Ukraine in the fall, a new information and conversational radio station “Vesti FM” should appear. Famous Russian media managers are currently working on its creation in Kyiv. According to one version discussed by the Ukrainian press, the project is financed by Moscow investors.

The Vesti FM radio station will broadcast in Ukraine in Russian. She will enter the Multimedia-Invest Group holding, headed by the ex-editor of the Ukrainian newspaper “Today” Igor Guzhva. The formation of the editorial office and the concept of a new radio station, stated the most modern in the CIS, are now engaged in Russian media managers - two former leaders of Kommersant FM Dmitry Solopov and Alexei Vorobyov. The head of “Multimedia-Invest Group” Igor Guzhva does not reveal the names of the investors of the radio station. According to one version, behind the holding are RAO Gazprom and the leader of the Ukrainian Choice movement Viktor Medvedchuk, who is associated with a long -standing friendship with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Alexei Mustafin believes that if it turns out that the project is created for Russian money, it will not cause a big scandal: “Ukraine is such an open country that the emergence of Russian, American, German or Chinese money will not play fundamental importance.”

“Vesti FM” plan to enter the Ukrainian air in November this year. In addition to the newspaper, the launched television channel and radio stations in the very near future at the Multimedia-Invest Group, with the support of the Russian expert media holding, a printed publication will also appear-the journal Vesti.
