On the afternoon of July 3, Urlashov’s lawyer Alexander Chernov noticed the news agency “Yarnovo” that, most likely, “some of the members of the Urlashov team will receive a certain proposal - and this team member will agree to cooperation with the investigation.” “Based on my experience, I can say: Judas, as a rule, is located,” the lawyer added.

Meanwhile, the wife of Donskov, who came on Wednesday evening for a folk gathering in support of the mayor, held a poster with the inscription "My husband is innocent! The whole story is farce! We have not found anything with us."

Another Urlashov lawyer Sergei Golubenkov told the publication that the mayor also did not refuse to testify, but denies the charges in full. On Wednesday, it was reported that the investigation invited Urlashov to conclude a pre -trial agreement, but he categorically refused the transaction.

Now the mayor is enclosed in a temporary detention center. The investigation will petition the arrest of the official. Golubenkov has no doubt that the court will satisfy this petition.

Meanwhile, Mikhail Prokhorov, the leader of the Civil Platform party, in which Urlashov consists, intends to bring a bail for him. According to the press secretary of the billionaire Tatyana Kosobokova, Prokhorov signed an appropriate petition on Thursday morning. "This method of restricting freedom (detention. - Ed.) A respected member of the society, which is suspected not of murders, but in economic acts, the party is considered an inadequate impartial misconduct," Kosobokova said.

The detention of Urlashov, who won the mayor’s elections last year, became known early on Wednesday in the morning. The TFR said that the mayor and members of his team are suspected of part 3 of Article 30, part 6 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code (attempting to receive a bribe, a group of persons by prior conspiracy, with an extortion of a bribe committed on an especially large scale). According to the agency, Urlashov and his subordinates since December last year extorted a rollback of 14 million rubles from a director of one of the contracting companies. According to the investigation, the businessman transferred this amount to the intermediary. "If the director of the company did not fulfill the requirements of the suspects repeatedly, threats of non -payment of funds for the performance of work under the next contract were repeatedly expressed," the SKR said in a statement.

Later, the official representative of the Investigative Department, Vladimir Markin, rejected the statements of the political background of the case of Urlashov. According to him, “some political figures, not understanding the essence of the matter, are trying to publicly put pressure on the investigation, in fact, forcing us to present to the company significant grounds or evidence of Urlashov’s involvement in the commission of a crime,” said the press secretary of the Investigative Committee.

In the afternoon on Wednesday, the Civil Platform office was closed in Yaroslavl. Earlier, activists conducted single pickets near him in support of the mayor. The police demanded to give written explanations about their T -shirts with the inscription "Putin - Thief."

In the evening, the city hall had a popular gathering in support of the head of the city. He gathered about 400 people.
