As a source told Znak.com in the surgical department of the Central District Hospital of the Krylovsky district, their condition is satisfactory; during the disaster, Natalya and Stepan Yakushkov received a concussion.

Meanwhile, according to the press service of Russian Railways, the company apologizes to all passengers on the train. Russian Railways also promises that in the near future, insurance company agents will meet with the victims to draw up the necessary documents to receive compensation. The company has created a commission to investigate the causes of the incident.

The train crash occurred on July 7 at around 5:15 p.m., 27 kilometers from Krylovskaya station. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, five cars derailed, according to the Southern Transport Prosecutor's Office - 11. In total, the passenger train included 19 cars, in which there were 618 people. As a result of the emergency, according to some sources, up to 100 people were injured, 15 of them were hospitalized.

A criminal case has been opened and is being investigated into the crash. The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs believes that the cause of the train crash was heat, which deformed the rails. Meanwhile, a source from Life News claims that the reason is a faulty track: the theft of elements fastening the rails to the track could have led to the train crash. According to one version, local residents could simply twist the nuts holding the rails together in order to sell them for scrap.
