The tragic accident in Yekaterinburg, as a result of which a two -year -old child almost died, led to massive folk speeches. The accident, which served as the reason for the dissatisfaction of the inhabitants of the sorting region of Yekaterinburg, occurred in the evening of July 7. The driver was fined and released

Not only the fact of an irresponsible ride, which almost led to the death of the baby, outraged the inhabitants of Yekaterinburg, but the behavior of the driver. Then, according to eyewitnesses, a “support group” came to the place of emergency, which began to almost hug with the police. Such behavior forced parents and caring Yekaterinburgers to suspect that the violator may evade responsibility. As a result, several dozen people came to the police department where the driver was delivered on Monday, including representatives of the local Cossacks.

But the audience was waiting for an unpleasant surprise: the culprit of the accident was already released, obliging only to pay a fine of three thousand rubles. As it turned out, at that time the documents on the fact of hitting a child were not yet ready, therefore, the court did not understand the family of the family, but considered only the previous, administrative, the driver’s case - he did not pay a long -standing fine for speeding.

"There was no reason to delay it"

Realizing that the atmosphere is heating up, the police tried to justify themselves. "The man who hit did not take a break from the scene of the accident. We had no reason to detain him," the press service of the traffic police of the Sverdlovsk region explained.

“In order to initiate a criminal case, it is necessary to first make a procedural decision,” the KP explained in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sverdlovsk Region. “If we acted illegal methods, then the person would have left responsibility. The certificates of law enforcement officers of the Yekaterinburg residents were not convinced. By 20:00, several dozen people gathered in the courtyard, police officers arrived there, who hastened to assure the townspeople that the driver was still taken into custody.

The head of the press service of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Valery Gorelykh, told the townspeople that at present there was no reason for concern, and that the violator was again detained by police officers, this time under Art. 91 Code of Criminal Procedure. “At present, he is interrogated,” the policeman emphasized. He also stated that a criminal case under Art. 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of the rules of the road and the operation of vehicles) in relation to the driver was nevertheless excited, all materials were transferred to employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Sverdlovsk region. They will also apply for the election of a preventive measure to a citizen of Uzbekistan in the form of detention.

Yakubov also noted that he pleaded guilty. However, the suspect made a reservation, not only he was to blame for what happened: "Not only my fault. They, too, left the child unattended." To the clarifying question of whether he wants to ask for forgiveness, the detainee answered: "Well, I already asked."
