The Left Front fulfilled the requirements of the prosecutor's office

The Left Front notified the Moscow prosecutor's office that all its claims to the movement were eliminated. This was reported on Twitter, conducted by supporters of the coordinator of the Left Front Sergey Udaltsov, who is under house arrest. In particular, documents for registration of traffic symbols were submitted, as well as amendments to its charter were made. “In this regard, representatives of the Left Front demand that the Moscow city prosecutor’s office remove all restrictions on the activities of the movement,” said Udaltsov supporters.

On April 19, the Moscow prosecutor's office suspended the activities of the Left Front for three months. The department motivated its decision by the fact that the movement did not eliminate the violation, identified by the previous check in November 2012. The prosecutor’s office also introduced the Left Front to the Council of the Left Front about the elimination of violations of Article 24 of the Law “On Public Associations”. The supervisory authority noted that the symbolism of the association, used in particular and in the design of its flag, was not registered in the manner prescribed by law.

On June 12, eight activists of the Left Front were detained on an opposition march against executioners, for carrying the flags of movement, partially closed by black matter with the inscription "Censorship". They were charged with part 1 of Article 20.28 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (participation in a public association, whose activities were suspended). The same flag of the Left Front was then turned by the State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev. The police could not detain him, as he has immunity, and Ponomarev continued the procession with the flag. After the procession, the police complained about the deputy in the prosecutor's office.

On June 25, the magistrate of the 396th section of the Zamoskvoretsky district court of the capital Gleb Sibirev fined two detainees on the march against executioners of the activists - Dmitry Lilikin and Maxim Chekanov - 1000 rubles.
