Ex -President of Egypt Mursi disappeared - his family accused the military of abduction

The family of the detached president of Egypt Muhammad Mursi does not know where he is, and accuses the military of his abduction. Murcy children said that they intend to investigate the loss of the father, who was detained by the military as a result of the coup on July 3, RIA Novosti reports.

"We will appeal to the International Criminal Court so that an investigation is being conducted for the abduction of my father, who is held already on July 3," said the youngest son Mursi Usama.

He emphasized: "Until now, the whereabouts of the president, my father, is unknown to me. We do not know where they contain him. We do not know the reason for his detention."

The daughter of the former head of state Shim Mursi at a press conference said: "What is happening with the father, legally chosen by the president of the country, is the complete violation of the norms of the law." She emphasized that it was the military that are responsible for the safety of the overthrown president.

The army of Egypt announced the overthrow of President Mursi on July 3, after which she took him under arrest, explaining this to security considerations. One of the possible whereabouts of the former head of state is considered the headquarters of the Republican Guard in Cairo. Mursi won the election of the head of state in 2012, moving forward from the Islamist Party "Muslim Brothers", some of which were also arrested.

Recall that popular unrest led to the resignation of the second president, the first was Hosni Mubarak, overthrown in February 2011. After the coup, the constitution was suspended. The military chose Adley Mansur to the place of temporary president of the country.
