Maria Alekhina, visitors to the Perm Regional Court were able to see only by video communication
In this game, someone is necessarily being held in court. Moreover, it is never known who it will be. Once, for example, at a court in Berezniki, this is a city in the Perm Territory, where Maria Alekhina was serving a sentence from December to July-Oksana Darova, a burned local lawyer: was so emphasized politely, even somewhere, a judge was carefully behaved, which could be found. And in the tooth meadow, where Nadezhda Tolokonnikova sits, Irina Khrunova was led - for a short while, only in the area of the dinner and immediately after, but the fact: he led because the court was what it was shown in the series. Then even as if justified, in the sense that there is always a chance: the probability that one individual judge in one individual case will be decided on an act, not zero after all.
Great hopes
This time, on the eve of the hearing on the appeal of Alekhina’s refusal in conditionally-like release, when I asked Khrunov if there is a chance that Alekhin would be released, she cut off: “No!”
And after half an hour, Pavel Chikov, the head of the Human Rights Law Organization of Agora and the husband of Khrunova, wrote a tweet: “I say, they will let go.”
And Khrunova was already desperately screaming: "No!"
Chikov wrote so because for some reason Alekhin was transferred from Berezniki to Perm, and having previously fired from work in the colony. The FSIN explained to lawyers that they would be transferred to the Perm Regional Court to be at a hearing in the Perm Regional Court, although they never deliver them to the court of appeal to the Udo convicts, and Alekhin did not deliver to Alekhin at all, by her complaints and petitions, each time providing her with “video specialist’s presence”. And on Sunday, it turned out that Tolokonnikov was transferred to Saransk to presence at the hearing on her complaint about refusal to Udo two days after the hearing of Alekhina. And here everything was already one to one, because well, different FSins could suddenly go crazy by separately and decide to go against the generally accepted practice. Something is behind it. So human rights activist Alexander Podrabinek wrote on Facebook that they could, suddenly, what the devil does not joke, and release.
Therefore, at the end of the dinner, on the eve of the hearing, Khrunov still said: “So, tomorrow is just another day, tomorrow nothing is being decided.”
There will be no defendant
The next day, in the huge new building of the Perm Regional Court, where pleasant music plays in elevators, and Latin statements about justice and justice were carved on the walls in the lobby on glass panels, the court's courteous spokesman gathered to the court of journalists and human rights activists. He took everyone into the hall in turn: first cameras, then writing, relatives and support group. In the middle of a large bright hall, two liquid crystal screens hang, one for the trial, the other for the public. While the journalists were satisfied so as to see the huge, spacious two -chamber cell of glass and wood, Khrunova and mother of Maria Alekhina Natalya Sergeevna looked upstairs. There was Maria Alekhina, according to the video from the Perm pre -trial detention center No. 5, in the iron cage - the camera was installed on this side of the grate. No one was going to deliver her to court. And no one was going to free her either.
This time, producer Alexander Cheparukhin, who has long and actively engaged in the support of Pussy Riot and sometimes, seems to be at all court hearings. Cheparukhin was breathing heavily and hesitated his experiences: "I got so excited." Natalia Alekhina taught him that she herself never allows herself any positive expectations, and therefore disappointments. This is not entirely true: I remember that in the Berezniki at the hearing according to the 82nd article-when Maria Alekhina asked to postpone the execution of the punishment until her son was 14 years old-Natalya Sergeevna was led: there was the same sincere judge.
Then why was Alekhin brought to Perm, and Tolokonnikov - to Saransk? Probably because the colony in Berezniki simply really wanted to get rid of Alekhina, but was afraid to do it openly because of possible public attention and generally out of habit. Therefore, they said that they were being taken to court. Well, when the FSIN was heard about this in Mordovian FSIN, apparently they decided that it was now supposed to - and just in case they were transferred to Tolokonnikov.
The correctional colony No. 28 wanted to get rid of Maria Alekhina because she divorced human rights unbearable for the administration there. “She demands what she believes she should,” says Khrunova. - She is negotiating with the staff - she only calls them that, “staff”, - only in writing. She carries such folders with her. ” In folders - documentation on violations of the rights of prisoners related to production, in compliance with safety, with remuneration of labor, in compliance with sanitary standards. “I know many people who are grateful to her,” says 25-year-old Elena Tkachenko, who had been freed after almost five years in IK-28 for fraud three weeks ago. - If not for her, these changes would not have happened. These changes are noticeable. ” The main thing is that some prisoners, thanks to Alekhina, managed to reduce the working day from 12 hours of hard labor to the legitimate eight. In some detachments, they made repairs, carried out hot water. In one detachment, the number of beds to the must be reduced.

| Elena Tkachenko helped prepare Maria Alekhin for a meeting |
Tkachenko, who tried to engage in human rights in the colony even before Alekhina appeared, is also very grateful to her for friendship, for protection and even for parole - who knows when she was released if the colony was in no hurry to send at least one of them.
On the eve of the court, Tkachenko arrived from Solikamsk, specially to help prepare Alekhin. Well, or at least you can do it. It was necessary to convey gum for hair (5 pieces), traces (2 pairs), lip gloss, mascara and beads. The inspector of the pre -trial detention center of the beads, who took the program, tripped: "What is it?" “You see, tomorrow is a trial, she will have everything blue, the dress is blue, and the beads need blue.” But the beads are not supposed to be transferred. And Alekhina’s dress was very beautiful in the cage on the screen: the left half is blue, on the right - two vertical strips, blue and white. There was no gum because of lighting in the pre-trial detention center, but Alekhina, it seems, was a blue velvet cap on Alekhina's head.
Leave in Alekhinsky
From there, from a cage on the screen, Alekhina waged her already familiar struggle. She filed a petition for a petition. About establishing a facsimile connection between the pre -trial detention center and the court, so that it can send written petitions (establish). On the introduction of different documents to the case (not attached). On the consultation with the defense (for this, the court session was interrupted, the video is disconnected in the hall and was established in a separate office, where Khrunova went). On the transfer to the court (did not transfer). About the break for lunch (interrupted). At some point in the voice-everything increasing and, it seems, interrupted-it became clear that she was beginning to lose her temper. But then the patience of the chairman, the judge Simpleeva, was just over. When he finally committed petitions and announced that he was moving to a judicial investigation, Alekhina once again asked her to give her a consultation with a lawyer. “And before that, what did you discuss with the lawyer? - the judge in a beautiful black mantle was indignant, and his beautiful face was distorted by irritation. - If it's not a secret, of course. Did you discuss how to behave on the process? "
When they attack Alekhin, she immediately gains composure. “Perhaps the court limits my right to defense,” she said.
“The right is right! - answered the judge. “But there is such a thing as abuse of law.” After that, he satisfied the request for a meeting, but demanded "to discuss the entire remaining course of the process so that we no longer interrupt."
Thus, the judge, in general, did not leave Alekhina. After conferring with Khrunova, she stated that she was leaving the trial, which does not even think, since her right to defense is systematically violated in it. I demanded that she be taken out of the cage, and while the judge was going to her thoughts and arguments, defiantly turned her back to the camera. Its small silhouette on the screen expressed all the measure of contempt for imposing itself as a court.
When Alekhin was finally disconnected, the case went to the case: the judge quickly read out the necessary documents, quickly consulted with his two colleagues and quickly issued a decision to refuse an appeal. Khrunov and Verzilov even managed to go to Moscow, from which they were supposed to be in a train in Saransk, where Tolokonnikova’s complaint will be considered on Friday. On the way to the Khrunova Airport, an assistant to a judge from Saransk called to find out when she arrives and agree when Tolokonnikov was taken to court - early to get acquainted with the case materials together. I called back five minutes later and confirmed everything. Such a courteous assistant to the judge.
As if on Friday in Saransk there will be a real court, not a game of it.
