Over the period from July 18 to July 24, approximately half of open mutual funds brought profit to their clients. The most successful investments of shareholders were in funds whose assets consist of gold and other precious metals in the form of metal accounts, shares of foreign exchange-traded funds (ETF), and shares of companies in the precious metals market. Their investments increased by 2.6-8% over the week. But shares of index mutual funds of shares, as well as funds of companies in the oil and gas sector, fell in price by an average of 1-1.6%.

Deposits

Last week, large retail banks did not change the rates of basic deposits for individuals. But Rosselkhozbank provided clients with the opportunity to open "Savings", "Classic" and "Gold" deposits remotely through an ATM or online banking. In this case, the rate of ruble deposits will be increased by 0.2 percentage points compared to deposits opened in the office. Now the average (across 30 capital banks that attracted the largest amount of funds from individuals into deposits) rate of an annual deposit without replenishment in rubles is 8.68%, in dollars - 3.45%, in euros - 3.16%.
