
The suspect in the attempt to receive a bribe temporarily suspended from the post of mayor of Yaroslavl Evgeny Urlashov may threaten another criminal prosecution. While investigators are checking information on the new criminal episode regarding Urlashov and several more city hall officials. "In the near future, the corresponding procedural decision will be made on these materials," the website of the Investigative Committee reports.
What exactly can be accused of Urlashov, is not specified. The report only states that in the framework of the already existing criminal case, investigative actions are carried out aimed at consolidating the evidence already received, as well as at the collection of new evidence. ” For this purpose, confrontation is held, phonoscopic, computer-technical and other examinations are assigned. According to the IC, while the Wirlashov’s wine is confirmed, including the testimony of two accused - Maxim Poikalanen and Andrei Zakharov, who continue to cooperate with the investigation.
Meanwhile, Urlashov himself and two more accused - his deputy Dmitry Donskov and adviser Alexei Lopatin - put forward their version of events. According to them, the bribe, of which they are accused, was brought to them "as voluntary sponsorship for the Civil Platform party.
Investigators promise to check this version, although they note that the entrepreneur who gave a bribe claims that he was extorted from him precisely as the so -called “rollback”.
According to the investigation, a bribe of 14 million rubles Urlashov and three of his subordinates extorted from an entrepreneur engaged in cleaning the city, a deputy of the City Duma from United Russia Sergey Shmelev. Otherwise, they threatened him with non -payment of money under the next contract.
A criminal case of receiving a bribe of 500 thousand rubles has also been instituted against Urlashov. Urlashov was detained on July 3. On July 18, the Moscow Basmanny Court temporarily removed him from the mayor. He is currently in the Sailor Silence pre -trial detention center in Moscow.
The court also authorized the arrest of four more defendants: to the deputy Urlashov Dmitry Donskov, the head of the agency for the municipal order of the city hall of Poikalainen and the mayor adviser, Lopatin was charged with a bribe by a group of persons with extortion on an especially large scale. In addition, the accusation of attempted mediation in bribery was brought by the alleged intermediary Zakharov.
