
The Nizhny Novgorod District Court of Nizhny Novgorod condemned the activists of another Russia Alexander Zaitsev and Dmitry Isusov by 10 and 7 days of administrative arrest, respectively, for participation in the strategy rally-31. This was reported on his twitter by their party colleague Ekaterina Zaitseva. The decision against Zaitsev was made by Judge Alexei Gorovinsky, in relation to Isusov - Vyacheslav Chigiev. Both activists, like their comrades, convicted the day earlier, were found guilty under Part 1 of Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (disobedience to the legal requirement of a policeman). Before the trial, the other Russians were kept in the Nizhny Novgorod OP-5.
In mid -June, Zaitsev was abducted by security forces and brutally beaten in the forest near Dzerzhinsky, a suburbs of Nizhny Novgorod. He received fractures of three ribs and a concussion. “Another Russia” regarded the attack as revenge for the action on June 12 at the regional FSB - then two activists were hanging there stretching with the text “Happy Day of the Motherland's Betrayal!”. In July, a criminal case was opened on the fact of an attack on Zaitsev.
On August 1, the Nizhny Novgorod district court condemned eight other participants in a strategy rally-31. I.O. Yuri Starovorov, the head of the Nizhny Novgorod “other Russia”, received eight days of arrest (judge Maxim Yurin), his party colleagues Anna Kuznetsova and Oleg Laletin - respectively, one (judge Yuri Magnutov) and five days (judge Andrei Shutov), anarchist Sergey Kuznetsov - five (Judge Golovinsky), also five (Judge Glab Kalinchev - also five (judge Olga Olga. Koloverova), civil activists Ilya Myskovsky and Igor Nesterov - two days (both judged by Irina Shkinina).
In contrast, the founder of the NN.RU portal Ilya Osipov was sentenced to a fine of 1000 rubles and was released from custody (Judge Chigiev).
On July 31, Nizhny Novgorod activists, in addition to the traditional slogan of freedom of assembly, also put forward the demand for the resignation of the mayor of the city Oleg Sorokin. Thus, they began a massive campaign for the resignation of the mayor, which was announced in mid -July. People went out with the posters "Sorokin on the bunks!", "Down with criminal power!" After the detention of the most famous activists, the protesters went under the flags of another Russia through the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin to the OP-5, where they delivered their comrades. Strategy-31 in Nizhny Novgorod:
Early in the morning on Wednesday, the Nizhny Novgorod police examined the headquarters of the regional branch of another Russia. The pretext was information about the explosives allegedly stored in the room. At about 4 a.m., the headquarters building on Novaya Street, 46 was blocked by numerous police forces, as well as fire department and rescue service. The police demanded to let them go inside. Negotiations lasted more than an hour. According to their results, it was decided to let the policemen allowing, provided that the inspection would be recorded by observers with photo and video equipment, who had arrived at the headquarters by that time. After that, the room was examined with a service dog. There were no explosives in it. From the headquarters on duty, they took an explanation about the lack of explosives.
The other Russia regarded the incident as a provocation of special services on the eve of the strategy-31 action.
