On August 6 in Moscow on Strastnoy Boulevard at the monument to Vysotsky there will be a picket in support of teacher Ilya Farber. Farber was sentenced by the Ostashkovsky city court to more than seven years in prison for allegedly receiving a bribe, despite the fact that there is no evidence in the case other than the slander of the contractor who undertook to build the rural club, of which Farber became the director, not counting the mysterious audio recordings in which the prosecution I heard the crunch of bills and estimated the amount based on it. The picket will take place from 18.30 to 20.30. Initially, the picket was planned on Chistye Prudy, but the prefecture of the Central Administrative District stated that, due to numerous requests from workers, mass gatherings of citizens were allegedly prohibited there.
Already when the organizers in the prefecture managed to reach an agreement on the space near the Trubnaya metro station, it suddenly turned out that tiles were being laid on Trubnaya Square (they couldn’t come up with anything more original). Nevertheless, the organizers considered that it was too late to change anything, and invite everyone to come and, without breaking the laws, stand in single pickets.
However, later it was decided to secure official paper - as a result, single pickets will stand on Strastnoy Boulevard, starting from the monument to Vysotsky. According to the organizers, one of them will stand on Trubnaya and redirect people.
