
The famous human rights activist Dmitry Groysman died in Ukraine. According to the Hville website, death occurred on August 5 from a heart attack. Groysman suffered from an innate heart disease. In 2008, the human rights activist was brutally beaten unknown in the entrance of his house in Vinnitsa.
Groysman was educated by a pathologist and a jurist. In 1993, he became one of the founders of the Vinnitsa Group of International Amnesty, from 1994 to 2000 coordinated the national campaign for the abolition of the death penalty. In 1998, the Groysman created a Vinnitsa human rights group, which was engaged in the rights of prisoners and refugees, exposed corruption in law enforcement.
In 2010, Groysman became a defendant in criminal cases of abuse of the state councils of Ukraine and about the spread of pornography , he was threatened up to 7 years in prison. The human rights activist was charged with the placement of links to a video with the participation of Russian public figures and Katya Mumu , as well as the publication of a drawing with the image of the phallus and ex-president Viktor Yushchenko. Later he was also accused of publishing a “pornographic image, namely the scanned postcards of the German AIDS Fund with the slogan“ Ukrainian policeman! Communicating with the boss and citizen, observe safety precautions ”.”
On August 7, the next court hearing in the Groysman case in Vinnitsa City Court was supposed to be held.
