On Monday, The Wall Street Journal reported that Snowden Sr. and Fane submitted documents to receive a Russian visa. The invitation to this day was sent to him on the same day by the lawyer of the fugitive, a member of the Public Chamber Anatoly Kucheren.
On August 1, Snowden received a shelter in Russia for a period of one year and left the transit zone of Sheremetyevo Airport, in which he was 39 days.
