Insky Odessa company began selling tickets into space, and there are already the first buyers - they became two lovers, the Odessa Life website reports.
The company received from the international partner - the Dutch company Space Expedition Corporation - the right to sell tickets in late July. At that time, the contract has not yet been signed - the document should be officially drawn up only after the first ticket was sold in Odessa, since the world distributor was not sure that the city would find those who wanted to pay $ 100 thousand - this is the price of the ticket, the Odessa Media agency notes.
The names of buyers are not disclosed, but it is known that their flight is a groom's wedding gift. A few days before the departure of Odessa, the preparatory course on the suburbs of Los Angeles will take place, and then go on flight on the Lynx Mark II missileplant, which starts from the cosmodrome on the island of Curasao in the Dutch West Indies. Odessaites who will fall into the first hundred travelers promise to pay for the flight to Istanbul, and from there to Los Angeles and Caribbean.
True, the newlyweds cannot fly together: according to the director of Insky Oksana Zamfira, only a tourist and a pilot accompanying him will be able to accommodate in the spacecraft. The flight will last 30 minutes, two of which can be in a state of weightlessness. Passengers will rise to a height of 100 km and will be able to admire the view of the ground - a transparent roof is provided in the ship’s hull, the Odessa Media Zamfir told.
Flights are scheduled for the end of 2014 - the beginning of 2015. One of the foreign customers of tickets at Space Expedition Corporation in early February became the black -legged star of the porn films Coco Brown . At the same time, she has already begun preparation for the flight.
Note that another Dutch company Mars One is gaining volunteers for its program on the basis of a colony on Mars, which will be held in a reality show. The project requires many times longer training and must start no earlier than 2023. Unfortunately, space travelers get a ticket only one way - they will no longer be able to return to Earth.
