The city is buried in greenery: parks, squares, boulevards, gardens. In the center is a wide Oktyabrsky Prospekt. On its left side - high -rise buildings, on the right - the steel community of the Kvant sports complex, brick baths and a modern building with a well -groomed lawn: the children's art school named after Glinka, whose hall was allocated for performances by candidates for mayors of Moscow in front of local residents.

The city administration, who settled in the building on Yubileinaya Street, the Trinity, without complaints about originality, called him the “White House”-now the vanity, everyone is in a hurry somewhere. Employees “Not for Record” say that they don’t hope for Sergei Sobyanin, but it’s interesting to look at Navalny: “He should be on August 20. Cool if it arrives. "

On August 13, on the day of a visit to the city of The New Times, at the art school named after Glinka was waiting for the Candidate of the Communist Party of Ivan Melnikov. On the path leading to the entrance, at a folding table under a red umbrella there is a thin mobile man with a mustache brush - Vasily Vasilievich. He gives agics for Melnikov and complains that the campaign in the city is sluggish. He says that in Soviet times, Troitsk was a closed Akademgorodok, about a dozen research centers work here and now. In the early 90s, science fell into decay, a bunch of employees were fired, today only 5 thousand people work in once famous institutions. “Previously, Muscovites went here to work, now on the contrary - ours are leaving for Moscow,” Vasily Vasilyevich lamentes. “The salary of an engineer is 15-30 thousand rubles.”

He speaks reluctantly about the city authorities: in 2003, the mayor of Troitsk Vadim Naydenov was killed “for unknown reasons”, then until 2011 the city was headed by Viktor Sidnev, the master of the television game “What? Where? When? ”, He left the position when Troitsk was attached to Moscow*. After him, the city head became his deputy Vladimir Dudochkin. “Sidnev promised a lot - for example, that commercial buildings in the city will stop, but did nothing special,” says Vasily Vasilievich. “And there’s nothing to say about Dudochkin.”

Other agitators are located opposite the Kwant sports complex: two young people in white caps and T -shirts are sitting near the stand “For! Sobyanin. " “Our candidate must come on September 2,” says one of them, Ilya. “We have a wandering picket: in Moscow there are more than 130 points, and we have one, the city is only 37 thousand people.” According to Ilya, the Trinity electorate shared between the United Russia and the Communist Party, and the Communists won in the elections to the State Duma **.

“There are a lot of Soviet hardening people who worked at institutes. They don't like how everything has changed. And the youth goes to Moscow, ”Ilya says, and adds that he almost suffered for politics:“ Supporters of Navalny somehow approached us, well, things did not reach Mordoboy. ”

Right behind him, on the other side of the avenue, a blue banner with white letters hangs from the balcony of the second floor of a residential building: “Navalny. Change Russia, start with Moscow. ”

We called scientists from the Russian Academy of Sciences to this forest, they confirmed that near Oktyabrsky Prospekt there was a nest of the pole-leteaga, a unique protein that flies. ” Melnikov consoles her: in Moscow, they say, the environmental situation is even worse, for example, water is chloride.

About twenty people on the streets of Troitsk interviewed The New Times: ten of them - both young and the elderly - replied that they would not go to vote on September 8, because they were not interested in politics. The rest of the opinion dispersed.

59-year-old Vladimir Mirov, a specialist in the field of civil defense and emergency situations, willingly enters the conversation: “Sobyanin is intelligent, smart, speaks well of the prospect. About Navalny information comes contradictory. To figure it out, you need to quit work, children, wife and do only bulk! ” According to Mirov, they expected more from joining Moscow - for example, solving a transport problem. But the road from Troitsk to Moscow is still a difficult path through traffic jams. But, he says, pensions raised to 12 thousand rubles, as in the capital.

Navalny, as in Moscow, mainly causes sympathy for younger people. “Yes, in the last year, something has been financially from the capital in the last year, our grandmothers pray to Sobyanin,” says 28-year-old Elena, lawyer. “But there are no deep changes and will not be, while a fresh person does not come to power.”

The New Times correspondent asked the Trinity whether they know that both daughters of Sobyanin live in luxurious apartments. “I read on the Internet,” says 31-year-old programmer Semyon. - This did not add to me hatred of Sobyanin, rather - to the whole system. Every day I spend two hours in the morning to get to work, and people who are obliged to solve this and other problems provide my children and mistresses on my taxes. ”

But the pensioner Tatyana, a youthful woman in fashionable dark glasses, admits that she does not care: “I judge Sobyanin on business. I like what is happening to the city in the Moscow government. And let the courts deal with their daughters. ”

On the far border

Rogovskoye settlement is located behind the large Ring of the MZD and borders on the Kaluga region. The center of the settlement is the village of Rovovo with 2600 residents. Around-19 villages, where two to five people are registered. In the summer, the population increases ten times - Muscovites gathered at the cottages.

The road from the center of the capital to the dew on public transport takes more than three hours: first to the metro station “Boulevard Dmitry Donskoy”, and from there to the place there are buses of the new flight No. 1004, opened after the expansion of Moscow. A half -empty bus travels through the whole new Moscow, outside the window - forests, corn fields, cottages ...

Robov - a village of one and a half kilometers in size: two parallel streets, a dozen five -story buildings. It smells of grass and hay. Houses in greenery: in front of each entrance, gorgeous flower beds with gladioli, geraniums, dahlias. On the outskirts - sheds. “About five years ago, there were 120 goals alone here, not counting pigs, ducks and chickens. I myself held two cows, sheep, a down goat, ”recalls the old -timer Viktor Grigoryevich. Now agriculture has fallen into decay. Residents work in two Russian-German factories: one produces a non-woven canvas, the second-food supplements. Some horns go to work in the neighboring Voronovo, Podolsk and old Moscow, as they call the capital here.

The village is noisy and unusually lively: global improvement is going on. The team of 80 Azerbaijanis removes the asphalt and puts a new one, repairs approaches to houses, sidewalks, parking, plants flower beds, installs a playground with a rubberized coating. The construction site is personally controlled by the CEO of the contracting company Ikram Abdulaev. He moves almost running, thoroughly gestures, shows the workers how the asphalt should lie in the parking lot so that the water will flow into the drain after rain. After each of his remarks, he asks: "Good?" - And, without waiting for an answer, he runs on. The workers also run after him: at the time of the arrival of The New Times correspondent, only five days remained before the “object” of the commission.

Abdulaev says that they began work two weeks after Sobyanin announced his resignation and participation in early elections. A contract for 49 million rubles (landscaping and work on the housing fund) with the company concluded for a very short time - two months, the workflow was taken under personal control by the Mayor for housing and communal services and landscaping issues of Peter Biryukov. “We must have time until the fall, because the elections of the new mayor Sobyanin and the rains will begin soon,” Abdulaev explains.

The improvement of the village is all that at least somehow hints at the upcoming elections: there are neither advertising stretch marks nor leaflets on fences in the dew.

“The best agitation is specific affairs. The people sees everything and now knows who to vote for. We say to the population: all these changes for a reason! Socialist is getting stronger. Where the money is in order, ”the head of the settlement Rogov Roman Atabekyan is talking with the New Times correspondent in his bright office on the second floor of the two -story brick building of the administration. Here is the House of Culture "Yubileiny", in the auditorium of which the voting site is equipped. Atabekyan admits that he feels “moral pride” because he became a Muscovite. He considers the dew not to the backyards, but the face of the capital: “We are a border zone with another subject of the federation, so people entering Moscow see us first. Moscow begins with us. "

Atabekyan sees the main plus from the merger with Moscow in the fact that the settlement “feels a noticeable injection of funds”: in addition to landscaping work, a fire department was built, gas is carried out in neighboring villages (more than half of the houses were not gasified), and water units are built.

In Rogov, Atabekyan is sure, there will be a landscape-recreational zone: “Environmentally friendly place will be built by the hospitals, health resorts.” He dreams that tourists will come here: the neighboring village of Kuzovlevo became famous in the war of 1812, and in 1941 the defense line of Moscow passed here.

“I am sure that the village will vote for Sobyanin. Honestly, I see no one except Sobyanin, ”says Atabekyan. - The current mayor has the most enormous experience of administrative work. The remaining candidates are shouting to the street and excite the people. People who want to come to the position of mayor should know where to find money and how to talk with the population correctly. ”

Countrymen with the authorities mainly agree. Only some are unhappy that “everyone has chosen for them,” and they will not go to vote. The rest is satisfied with everything. “While Putin is in power, there will be Sobyanin. It makes no sense to choose, so I will vote for the acting! Who are there candidates around him? A trifle, zero. They have no resources. You can promise a lot, and people are sitting over you who give money. To do something, you need to disperse this retinue at the top, ”explains Rogovets Viktor Grigoryevich.

From the entrance of the five -story building, in front of which the construction is coming, the secretary of the election commission and member of the United Russia party Valentina Petrovna, an energetic woman in raspberry pants and a white shirt. “Here is low - all the water goes under the door, at the threshold of a puddle. Raise the asphalt a bit, ”she cheerfully commands the worker. “We always had a good percentage for Putin, they gained more than seventy,” with pride, as if boasted by economic achievements, notes Valentina Petrovna. - I will vote for Sobyanin. Everyone should work together. Why share: here is "United Russia", here are the Communists ... "

But engineer Alexander Marchenko even claims that he had already cast his vote: “Our women from a neighboring house bypassed, agitators. They asked: who - for? Personally, yes! And my family is all! The granddaughter even signed up! The whole village has already cast a voice, and write down: "For Sobyanin!" And don't go anymore, don't look here! "
