Moscow investigators closed a criminal case against the 79-year-old professor of the Russian Academy of National Economy and the Presidential Service of the Russian Federation Alexander Kulikov. “The investigation of the scandalous incident is taken into account. The case against Kulikov was opened under Part 1 318 of the article (non -hazardous violence against a representative of the authorities) by the Gagarinsky interdistrict department of the TFR. The professor threatened up to 5 years in the colony.

A month later, Kulikov was summoned in the Investigative Committee for examination, where they asked questions that were not related to his beating.

On Wednesday, the lawyer of Professor Irina Tikhomirova found out that investigator Vadim Gartsov opened a case against Kulikov on the 318th article on July 31. Kushchev said during interrogation that Kulikov had inflicted at least six strokes to him, causing "physical pain and deep moral trauma."
