Onishchenko is outraged that Ukraine sent documents in English: "Roshen" in Russia will wait for "years"

The exposure of the confectionery products of the Ukrainian company Roshen on the Russian market may seriously drag on, the head of the Rospotrebnadzor, the chief state sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation Gennady Onishchenko, said on Saturday Interfax . "Over the past week, we have not received any proposals from the Ukrainian side as part of the implementation of our agreements regarding the mechanism of returning products. Yesterday from the Ukrainian side I was presented with a multi -page folio in English, which had nothing to do with the format of agreements," Onishchenko said.

The Ukrainian side presented this document through the Ministry of Economic Development. “This gives me reason to believe that the Ukrainian side perceives this technical issue as political and acts in this logic,” Onishchenko noted. “With this development and with such an assessment of events, it seems to me that our promotion on this issue takes several years to the future.”

In mid -August, on negotiations in Moscow, Onishchenko with the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Nikolai Prisyazhnyuk, an agreement was reached on the mechanism for the return of the Roshen confectionery to Russia. In particular, an inspection of four Ukrainian enterprises is expected by specialists of Rospotrebnadzor. After the inspection, the department will allow Ukrainian products to the market, but will control each batch.

An agreement has also been reached that in Ukraine for the safety of products that are intended for the Russian Federation, specially accredited laboratories will be responsible. The exact deadlines for returning to the RF market of the Russian Federation "Roshen" are not determined.
