Mosgorsud left Udaltsov under house arrest

The Moscow City Court rejected the complaint of the defense of the coordinator of the Left Front Sergei Udaltsov to the decision of the Basmanny Court of Moscow on the extension of his house arrest, Rapsei reports. On August 1, the judge of the Basmanny District Court of Moscow Arthur Karpov satisfied the application of the investigation and extended the term of house arrest Udaltsov until October 6. The next day, the judge of the same court Valentina Levashova extended the term of detention in the pre -trial detention center of the assistant Udaltsov Leonid Razvoszhaev until the same date.

Udaltsov has been under house arrest from February 9. Prior to that, he was under the subscription about the wonness.

On July 1, Udaltsov and Razvozhaev, as well as their defenders, began familiarization with the materials of the criminal case, which was allocated in a separate proceeding. The volume of business is 79 volumes. It also includes numerous material evidence, audio and videos.

Udaltsov is accused of preparing for the organization of riots (part 1 of Article 30 and part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) and the organization of riots on May 6 in Bolotnaya Square in Moscow (part 1 of Article 212). In addition to the same accusations, Razvoszhaev is also charged with an illegal crossing of the state border (part 1 of Article 322). The final charge was brought by him on June 19.

After the completion of the procedure for familiarization, the criminal case will be sent to approve the indictment and subsequent transfer to the court for consideration on the merits. According to supporters of Udaltsov, two to three months can take to study the case file. Thus, the beginning of the process should be expected around October.

Razvoszhaev tried to get political asylum in Ukraine, but was abducted in Kyiv and delivered to Russia. Since October 2012, it has been contained in jail. Another thing against him on charges of knowingly false denunciation against the investigator of the Investigative Committee (part 2 of Article 306) was returned to the investigation.

Two other defendants in the affairs of the “Anatomy of Protest - 2” are the Georgian parliamentarian Givi Targamadze and the former member of the Russian socialist movement Konstantin Lebedev. Targamadze put on the wanted list. Lebedev made a deal with the investigation and at the end of April was convicted as the organizer of the riots by 2.5 years in a colony-settlement. He fully pleaded guilty, including episodes such as the preparation of sabotage on the Trans -Siberian Railway and the riots in the correctional colonies of the five regions of central Russia. He also called the genuine demonstrated in "Anatomy of Protest - 2" Video of the conversation of Russian opposition to Targamadze. Later it became known that Lebedev was left to serve his sentence in the Lefortovo pre -trial detention center.
