In Syria, as a result of the attack, the governor of the central province of Hama Anas An-Nim died.

"The governor accepted the martyrdom at the hands of traitors of national interests," the SANA news agency said, as ITAR -TASS reports.

According to preliminary data, AN-NAM died as a result of the undermining of a mined car. According to some reports, the bomb was laid in a parked car.

The province of Hama has become one of the most bloody tens of battles in two years of conflict, the Russian BBC service notes.

Dr. Anas Abdul-Razak was appointed to the governor’s post more than two years ago.

During the conflict in Syria, the opposition militants managed to kill a number of government members and military officials, Interfax points out.
