The murder of the head of the Council of People's Commissars of Ingushetia was accused of the field commander Getagazhev

The field commander Arthur Getagazhev was involved in the murder of the Secretary of the Security Council of Ingushetia Ahmed Kotiev. It is reported by ITAR-TASS with reference to regional investigative authorities. "The identities of several other people who were with Getagazhev are established. Measures are being taken to search for him and detention," the agency’s interlocutor said.

As the publication writes with reference to the information of the special services, Getagazhev is 38 years old, he is a native of the village of Sagopsha, the Malgobek district. In 2009, Getagazhev joined the armed underground. Then he was put on the federal wanted list under Articles 317 (an encroachment on the life of a policeman) and 222 of the Criminal Code (illegal acquisition of weapons).

Getagazhev is attributed to the organization of a terrorist attack committed in August 2012 in the district police department "Malgobek". Then the suicide bomber was blown up in the crowd of police officers who came to the funeral of his colleague. Seven police officers died, 15 were injured.

Meanwhile, the "Caucasian knot" with reference to an unnamed site supporting the Ingush Mujahideen reports that the armed underground took responsibility for the murder of Kotiev. Who exactly made such a statement does not specify the agency.

According to Mujahedov, writes the Caucasian Knot, the shelling of Kotiev’s house in Malgobek, committed in June 2012, was a warning to the official. The underground wanted to ensure that he ceased the armed persecution of Muslims. Mujahideen accuse Kotiev of leadership of death squadrons, whose militants killed hundreds of people. The official ignored the warning, representatives of the underground say, so it was decided to punish him.

Kotiev was killed in the morning on Tuesday . At about 7:30, unknown people fired at his car at the village of New Achaluki on the Malgobek highway - Nazran, when the official went to work in Magas. The driver - Kotiev’s cousin - died on the spot, the official himself died on the way to the hospital.

Kotiev was buried in the family cemetery in Malgobek. At the funeral was present by the acting Heads of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov.
