Rosneft has submitted applications to the Guinness Book of Records and the Russian record book for the transportation of the largest cargo to the farthest distance, the company's press service reports. The fact is that, as part of the implementation of the project of the Achinsk oil refinery, Rosneft conducts a unique operation to transport hydrocracking reactors to the plant site.
Four reactors with a total weight of more than 2.5 thousand tons are transported at a distance of about 12 thousand km. From the Italian port of Mantovo they were delivered by two barges along the Northern Sea Route to the port of Dudinka. Further - according to the Yenisei to a specially created temporary pier in Kubekovo. From there, the equipment will be delivered to the Achinsky refinery with heavy vehicles.
The largest reactor, its weight is about 1.3 thousand tons, will be transported using a 36-meter transport module. This module has 24 double axes, a total of 384 wheels. This provides maximum stability and optimal load distribution along the road, emphasizes in the company.
However, not everyone shares the joy of Rosneft's leadership. "But let's read the news again: the oil superpower is lucky for the processing of hydrocarbons 12 thousand km from the place of production from the country that practically does not have minerals at all - but there is definitely something to be proud of?" - Asks a rhetorical question portal Slon.ru.
The media already noted with sarcasm that Igor Sechin, apparently, is obsessed with the idea that the company he is managing should have the largest ”: the largest tax deductions to the budget, the largest capitalization in Russia, the largest salaries to top managers.
