IFC will supply Transaero with six MS-21s

Today at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2013, the leasing company Ilyushin Finance Co. (IFC) and OJSC Aviation Company Transaero signed a memorandum of intent regarding the operational leasing of six MC-21-300 aircraft manufactured by Irkut Corporation. It provides for the transfer of aircraft starting in 2019. The delivery of the third An-158 to the Cuban airline will bring the total number of aircraft delivered through IFC to Cuba to 10. Previously, the leasing company transferred nine aircraft to the Cuban side, including four medium-haul Tu-204 in passenger and cargo versions, three long-haul passenger Il-96 -300 and two regional passenger An-158.

Simultaneously with the transfer of the An-158 to the Cuban airline, another firm contract was concluded for the supply of three more An-158s in 2014. To finance the transaction, a trilateral agreement on financing deliveries in 2014-2015 was signed on the first day of the air show. An-148/158 aircraft to Cuba.
