In addition, the local authorities will be transferred to the regional library for the blind and the children's theater "Vera".

According to New-NN, the Boldino Museum itself was not yet known about the change of status. Meanwhile, the administration of the Bolsheboldinsky district confirmed the news. At the same time, the deputy head of the district, Alexander Chesnov, said : "For us, this message was a blow - an increase in the status of the museum was expected. We beat all the bells to somehow change this situation." According to the official, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev has already been sent a collective letter with a request to cancel the decision to transfer the museum, but it has not yet been received. Meanwhile, the regional Ministry of Culture refused comments on the transfer of the museum.
