The Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation will allocate 60 million rubles to the Perm Territory as co-financing for the construction of interschool stadiums. This decision was made after a meeting between the Governor of the Kama Region, Viktor Basargin, and the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, Vitaly Mutko, in Moscow, reports the Perm regional server.

This year, 10 interschool stadiums have already been built in the region, and 4 more will be opened in the near future. Next year it is planned to build 12 more stadiums.

Basargin and Mutko discussed other issues related to the sports life of the Kama region. Thus, the regional governor reported that on September 1, a children's and youth sports school of the Olympic reserve in basic sports will open in Perm: ski jumping, Nordic combined, biathlon and athletics. More than 640 children will attend the school; its branches will be located in Tchaikovsky, Chusovoy, Komi-Permyak district and other regions of the region.

In addition, in the Kama region preparations are in full swing for sporting events scheduled for January 2014 in Tchaikovsky at the Snezhinka Federal Winter Sports Training Center. The IX and X stages of the Nordic Combined World Cup and the V and VI stages of the Women's Ski Jumping World Cup are planned here. Now, according to Basargin, an additional grandstand with a thousand seats is being built. Additional lighting of the routes was also required, since the complex is used around the clock. “We have already met and discussed organizational issues with representatives of the organizing committee for the World Cup and representatives of the Eurosport TV channel, which will broadcast the competition. In the future, it is planned to host the annual World Cup stages in ski jumping and Nordic combined on the basis of the federal center,” noted Viktor Basargin.
