While Governor Evgeny Kuyvashev was in the park improving the living conditions of squirrels and birds, hundreds of people gathered under the windows of his residence. As a Znak.com correspondent reports, today the head of the City Without Drugs Foundation, Evgeniy Roizman, went for a traditional jog on the embankment. Since he registered as a candidate for mayor of Yekaterinburg, more and more people come to Plotinka on Saturday, join the run, thereby expressing their support.

However, today all records for the number of participants in Roizman’s run were broken - hundreds of people in red gathered under the governor’s windows (his recognizable red T-shirt was chosen as the symbol of Roizman’s campaign). Apparently, this infuriated the guards at Kuyvashev’s residence.

A stern security guard announced that those gathered were breaking some kind of law and called the police. They arrived just a few minutes later. It all ended quite unexpectedly. “PPS employees came up with Roizman, shook his hand, wished him victory in the elections and left for home,” says one of the participants in the race.

One can only guess how many people in red T-shirts will gather under the governor’s windows on the day before the elections, September 7.

Let us add that Roizman’s election campaign immediately acquired the character of a people’s campaign: for example, the administrative resource did not allow the social activist to place his advertisements on external advertising media, and also did not allow him into most media, however, the drug fighter’s election headquarters found a way out of this situation - Roizman personally meets with hundreds of his voters every day.

At the same time, the trial of Roizman’s chief of staff, Aksana Panova, continues. The day before, Roizman said that Panova was essentially a hostage of Governor Kuyvashev. The negotiators demanded that Roizman withdraw his candidacy from the elections, otherwise promising to imprison Panova for 7 years.
