Members of the Kurgan branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation today, August 31, went to another picket, demanding the resignation of the government of Dmitry Medvedev. As the leader of the regional party committee Vasily Kislitsyn told Znak.com, the pickets took place near the Central Market and in the village of Energetikov, in total 15-17 people took part in them. Since only 10 people were declared, the rest stood with single pickets.

At the same time, another picket took place today, organized by members of the Russian United Labor Front. They supported the demands of the communists and went to the monument to Kolya Myagotin under red flags.

According to Vasily Kislitsyn, in total, the Kurgan Communist Party of the Russian Federation has already held about 5-6 protest actions in Kurgan dedicated to the resignation of the government. In addition to this, separate pickets are also taking place in the Trans-Ural regions.

As you know, Russian communists came out with a demand for the resignation of the Russian government in early July. The catalyst was a controversial bill submitted to the State Duma on reforming the Russian Academy of Sciences, which envisaged its transformation into a kind of public “club of scientists” and exclusion from managing its own property complex. Russian President Vladimir Putin had to get involved in editing it. Then the leaders of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation assured that the reform of the Russian Academy of Sciences was only the “last straw.”

Currently, members of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation continue to collect signatures for an open letter, which sets out 10 reasons for the resignation of the Cabinet. In summary they sound like this: the government continues economic policies leading to disaster; financial policy remains incompetent; The predatory privatization of state property continues - the country's largest production facilities are transferred to foreign jurisdiction; the current government cannot ensure sustainable economic growth; joining the WTO on terms unfavorable for Russia undermines the country's potential; government policy puts the constituent entities of the Russian Federation on the brink of bankruptcy; the government is maniacally cutting social guarantees; the country's scientific and technical sphere is degrading; demonstrates a complete inability to deal with corruption; government inaction led to the undermining of the country's defense capability.
