The modern Russian school is rapidly advisable

Critics of the current school reform say that innovations are a pile of disparate, mostly well -thought -out decisions. But at least two main directions are still distinguishable.

The first is financial optimization. The merger of urban schools, the liquidation of small rural, the introduction of paid educational services, a reduction in the number of free circles and sections and other innovations from the field of “effective management” .

But the second direction of transformations regarding the content of education and educational work is much more interesting. Here the vector is a return to the Soviet model of the school.

In the "dashing nineties" schools gained considerable independence. Now its last remains are eliminated. Even where the school itself is free to decide on how to do it, the practice of “urgent recommendations” became commonplace, for the failure to fulfill the school leadership, different -caliber punishments are falling up to the most serious ones: recently, by order of the department, the school principal can be fired at any time without explanation.

The desire to control every little thing led to the shaft of the “papers” schools drawn up and the administration of the school (the idea of ​​electronic circulation of documents is expressed in the fact that any note exists in two types - electronic and paper). Teacher forums and blogs are full of stories that the inspectors not only merge the lessons in the journal compiled at the beginning of the year, but also check whether these topics are consistent with records in student notebooks.

Almost all educational work is aimed at “creating a positive image of Russia”, that is, it is put on a propaganda basis. A single textbook of “consistent” domestic history, lists of commemorative dates, according to which the lessons must be held, from this series. Here, for example, is a list for this academic year: 1150 years of Slavic writing, 1025 years of Baptism of Rus', 900 years of the Charter of Vladimir Monomakh, 450 years of the first Russian printing house Ivan Fedorov, 400 years of the Romanov dynasty, 70 years of Kursk of the Battle of Kursk and a breakthrough of the blockade of Leningrad, the 20th anniversary of the Russian Constitution and many others. There is no doubt that in the manuals there will be no mention of the sad fate of the first printing house and Fedorov personally, or the reaction to baptism, not to mention the conformity of law enforcement practice to the spirit of the constitution-pioneine ...

But do not think that propaganda is limited to the past: on the day of this issue of the magazine in all Moscow classes, class hours on the topic “Our Moscow” should take place, and in the sentenced recommendations, officials suggest concentrating students on positive changes in the city over the past two years and the election program of Sergey Sobyanin “7 Priorities”.

From the same series the introduction of a compulsory school uniform. The arguments sound exactly the same as the defenders of the uniformity in the late 80s, when schools were canceled with a clear order: social equality, discipline, convenience for parents. Few people remembered the harmonious development of the personality and the education of creative individuality, which, according to the law on education, are the priority tasks of Russian education.

Why is this all done? On the surface - nostalgia for the late USSR, which the government uses not only in the educational field, forcing it to work in its favor. But the main thing is that the current government simply does not know how to differently. The confidence that the slightest freedom of choice “below” leads to a demolition of state foundations, encourages the manifestations of any manifestations of the individuality of schools and individual teachers. Catual propaganda seems more effective than any other methods of exposure. In Soviet times, they brought up the “conscious builder of communism” with a bias in workers and engineering specialties, now, with an amendment for a while, a “competent consumer”. And all the correct words about the humanization and development of individuality, as one well -known figure in our consistent history said, on another reason, is “Vaal! Veil!"

The worst sides of the Soviet education system are extracted from the past, and the positive (for example, the well -known fundamental in teaching the exact and natural sciences) is devoted to oblivion.

If the assumption about the conscious copying of the worst that was in the Soviet school is true, then in the near future we are waiting for the creation of an all -Russian organization of schoolchildren with compulsory membership. Unified requirements for visual agitation will be revived (many inspectors already ask questions about the reasons for the absence of the highest portraits in the study rooms). Politinformation will return and much, much more. After all, according to the proverb that recently appeared on the Internet, the story is repeated three times: like a tragedy, like a farce and as a bill in the State Duma.
