Navalny, suitable and normal

- Che, Muscovite? The guy out of Yaroslavl came. And I'm from Veliky Novgorod. He took the vacation and came to agitate for Navalny. Yura is my name.

By the exit from the Komsomolskaya metro station, Yura and I made his way for about 10 minutes. The crowd thickened back in the middle of the hall, 50 meters before the escalators, moved slowly, rubbed with wet jackets. People with bracelets and stickers “Navalny team” wondered if everything was “ours” here. “Not ours” began to turn over on the way to the escalator.

- A month and a half campaigned, 16 cubic meters passed! - Yura and I from Veliky Novgorod finally got out of the metro. - He worked all over Moscow! Mostly in the Southern District. There are such people - nobody needs anything in general! So we have to explain, not Muscovites.

The crowd scattered, scattered at three stations. Still, “not ours”, Yura was upset, opening the umbrella.

- And would you go to any city for Navalny?

- Well, of course, this is the future for everyone. Ino-n, look, the red “passage is prohibited” circle, and I already imagine a red sticker. And there, you see, really a sticker. Yes, on the left, look on the left! I already have a pulled eye. Interestingly, but in Moscow they generally talk about anything else? No matter how I go down in the subway, the rumble stands: “Ta-Ta-Ta-Ta-Naval. Ta-Ta-Ta-Ta-Sobyanin. "

Closer to Sakharov Avenue, volunteers appeared indicating the passage to the framework of metal detectors, and Yura told how recently in the lane near the headquarters he met “Navalny with Julia” (wife): “He approached, shook his hand. He somehow jerked. Probably hesitated at all. I decided, if I meet again, I would just say hello, but I won’t shake my hand. ”

- Are you familiar with Navalny?

- But what about! At the first meeting with the volunteers, I took a picture with him. Then there was little people, and even take a picture. Then everyone ran up ...

From the metro to Sakharov Avenue, a noticeable handle of people under the umbrellas stretched.

- Look how many ours! - Yura admired, - they specifically gave us Sakharov Avenue, so that there was not enough of us. But now it rains, all under umbrellas, and it will seem that there are many of us. By the way, we meet friends here.

- Novgorod?

“Uh ... no,” Yura suddenly blushed. - We have already met here, in Cuba ...

And he reached for his mobile: “Hello, dear. Are you in the square? And I'm already coming up. "

Officially, the rally began at 17.30, but up to seven on Sakharov Avenue was quite empty, near the framework of metal detectors a man with a homemade poster stood lonely: “If not a bulk, then” - and the back of the cat, drawn by Putin on September 1. There were no more written slogans written by hand, the creative protest was replaced by the standard “Navalny” signs. They were glued to umbrellas, attached to their clothes and instigrated with might and main.

- Navalny, proud and verbal, bold dreams, blue eyes. Navalny, suitable and normal, which means that I and you will vote for! - Zakhar May sang on the motive of the “mountain lavender”.

The format of the rally from the very beginning was declared as a concert. The Hedliners were the groups “Accident”, “Lipis Trubetskoy”, “Dancing Minus”, and the reper of Vladimir from the “caste”. As announced earlier, they all performed for free.

The musicians were replaced by the famous people who support Navalny in the elections. On Sakharov Avenue, they looked familiar: almost everyone was at a rally “For Fair Elections” on December 24, 2011. Now they looked more wet, less frozen, less evil, more optimistic. Speech has become shorter, applause is less often, but in pauses they almost did not chant. It was noticeable that it was no longer necessary to start and cheer people. Everyone already understood why they had gathered.

“Now the vegetarian situation is still: stand a little, to shake a little, pass half a kilometer to the site, put some insignificant tick ...” said Dmitry Bykov, “in return we will get much more.” We all tried what it is to be people, and it is pretty nice.

- The first tour (election) is such a sociological survey. This is a roll call, ”said Boris Akunin,“ those who vote for Sobyanin - they all suited. Those who are for a systemic opposition are not very satisfied. And those who vote for Navalny most want to change the life of the city for the better. I hope he will gain the most votes and our life will change for the better. (...) I hope that after the mayor the Moscow City Duma will announce its self -dissolution and we will begin a new election campaign. The political energy that this campaign woke up will not go anywhere. She will wander along our streets and good if she goes to the transformation of Moscow.

Visitors to the concert also differed from those who went to rallies in the winter of 2011-2012. It seemed the most stubborn. Elderly dusty men, usually united by the name “Demshiza”, volunteers of Navalny, incorrect faith in it resembling “Nashists”, students, ordinary citizens of middle -aged and income, elderly women who were unlikely to know about the existence of the “Casta” group, “creative class” ... White ribbons, wet and wiped from the time, were visible on their clothes and bags. rallies "for honest elections", but not removed. It seemed that now, along with white ribbons, the red sticker “My mayor Navalny” would remain on bags for a long time. However, there was no particular fanaticism. It seemed to half Navalny - the last hope. For the rest, the arrival here is an advance.

“Alexei, only if you didn’t get a bastard,” Vyacheslav Petkun, the leader of the Dance Minus group, threw him from the stage.

- The shit regime? Yes or not? - with a bored face and rolling intonation of Navalny asked singer Vasya Oblomov from the stage. And after the expected answer, he performed the song "Our people love all shit."

In long pauses between musicians on several large screens showed an endless video from the election campaign: “60 days before the victory”, “52 days before the victory”, a rally after the conviction of Alexei Navalny and Peter Officer in Kirov, the work of the volunteer headquarters, the meeting of the candidate with voters ... At some point it began to seem to be shown only under the rally of Navalny's Navalny himself phonogram.

- The frontman will not go anywhere, the frontman will be! - convinced the host of the concert Leonid Parfyonov.

The camera grabbed the frontman himself, standing in the crowd near the stage. He sang along with the musicians, showed a goat to the public, put horns over his wife's head. It was she who entered the stage first.

- It happened in Russia that we do not see politicians at rallies. But politics itself bursts into our families, ”said Julia Navalny. - The family see politicians as a place in which it is the most painful to hit. I went out to say: if the authorities perceive the family as a vulnerable place, then it is mistaken. Every minute I felt your support, I am grateful to each of you and is ready to kiss everyone who is on this square ...

- Look, she is crying! - whispered the audience. It seems that at that moment Alexei Navalny received several more percent of the vote.

- I liked the rally. And I liked Navalny,-later, already on the way from Sakharov Avenue, women told me about 60 years old. - And most of all - Julia.

Alexey Navalny actually closed the rally.

“I do not see the edges of this crowd, but I see that you are all with me,” he said. - I came here to you in order to find a name. It is ridiculous when these guys in the Kremlin call me “some politicians” or “this gentleman”. I came to say: my name is Alexei Navalny and I am tired of being an inconspicuous majority. I came here to say that it was time to notice us. We are ready to oust Putin's vacuum from politics and take it by ourselves. We are ready to fight for healthcare, education and housing and communal services tariffs. We are ready to defend political prisoners. Each of us must do everything so that two million people come to polling stations and change the country.

Speech listened in complete silence. It seems that even the most wet and dissatisfied skeptics for a few minutes the feeling that they observe, for the first time in a long time, was politics.
