The chief editor of Gazeta.ru instead of Svetlana Lolaeva, leaving his post, will be journalist Svetlana Babaeva.

This was reported to Lolaeva by ITAR-TASS on Sunday, September 8. She said that “I recently met with the chairman of the board of directors of the post-rambler-Sup holding Alexander Mamut, who announced the resignation.

“He said that there were no complaints about my work and that they had long been looking for a new editor -in -chief,” Lolaeva said. The holding refused to comment on this information.

Svetlana Lolaeva became the editor -in -chief of Gazeta.ru in March 2013 after the resignation of Mikhail Kotov.
