The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia will check information about advertising smoking mixtures on Facebook. If the social network administration does not remove this advertisement, Facebook can be blocked.
“If we find signs of violation of the law on advertising, we will initiate a matter. If we are talking about drugs, we will additionally send materials to the Federal Drug Control Service, ”said ITAR-TASS, Deputy Head of the FAS Andrei Kashevarov.
“If Facebook will not react in any way, Roskomnadzor will have grounds for making Facebook to the list of prohibited sites,” said the representative of Roskomnadzor Vladimir Pikov.
The Russian Facebook explained the appearance of advertising of mixtures with a technical failure and promised to remove it. According to the representative of the social network, users themselves can hide unwanted advertising, as well as explain the reason why they do not want to see it. This information enters the Facebook support service.
Network users recorded today, September 16, the appearance of smoking mixtures on their pages. Advertising redirects to a site where you can purchase smoking mixtures, including wholesale.
