UN experts confirmed the use of Zarin in Guta

According to the results of a trip to Syria, the UN experts confirmed the use of a nerve gas of Zarin in a suburb of Damascus Guta during an attack on August 21, reports Associated Press. As stated in the report, which the head of the group of the Osa Selrodem should submit on Monday the UN Security Council, the Land-Earth-Earth class, used during the bombardment of Guta, contained Zarin.

Officially, the report has not yet been made public. Only his first page was published in the media. It was possible to get a copy by increasing the official picture from the UN website, on which the village of Selstrom transmits the report to the Secretary General of the organization of Pan Hi Munu.

At the same time, the agency does not report whom the experts accused of using chemical weapons - the forces of the dictator Bashar al -Assad or the armed opposition detachments opposing them. Western countries insist that Assad is guilty in chemical attacks; Russia claims that poisonous substances were used by rebels.

When attacking in Guta, hundreds of civilians died. After this incident, the United States announced their intention to start a military operation in Syria, even in the absence of the sanction of the UN Security Council. Russia, however, has ensured that the operation was postponed, in exchange for the accession of Syria to the Convention on the prohibition of chemical weapons and the consent of Assad to destroy all chemical shells. Meanwhile, on Friday, the media, citing the special services of the United States and Israel, reported that the dictator has been hiding its stocks of chemical weapons for several weeks .

Earlier on Monday, it became known that Moscow rejected Washington’s proposal for the disposal of Syria chemical weapons in Russian territory. The question of the place of destruction of these arsenals remains open. In accordance with the recent Russian -American agreement, all chemical weapons in Syria should be liquidated in an unprecedentedly short period - by mid -2014. According to US Secretary of State John Kerry, part of the chemical weapons can be destroyed in Syria itself, but its significant volumes should be taken outside the country.

Russia has serious capacities in the disposal of chemical weapons. The American side proposed to use them, but Russia's representatives rejected this idea. Perhaps poisonous substances will be transported to Turkey or Jordan, bordering Syria.
