In Transnistria, a stabilization fund was created, which is replenished, in particular, through the sale of Russian gas to the population, the Kommersant newspaper writes on Wednesday.

The publication notes that funds transferred to the fund from communal organizations are spent on the needs of the presidential administration, the KGB and other departments. At the same time, Transnistria is in no hurry to extinguish the debt to Gazprom - at the moment it is more than $ 4 billion. The presence of a stab fund is mentioned in copies of decisions of the local government, which were at the disposal of the newspaper.

At the same time, a legal entity entitled “Stabilization Fund of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic” appears on the Ministry of Justice of the Unrecognized Republic.

At the same time, so far it remains incomprehensible how much funds enters the fund and how exactly they are spent.
