The lecture is dedicated to the opening of the exhibition "Pete Mondrian. The path to abstraction. "
Mondrian, along with Malevich and Kandinsky, is considered one of the main founders of abstraction, his unique and radical creative method left a noticeable mark in the art of the twentieth century. Neoplasticism (or new plastic), invented by Mondrian, had the task of reforming the laws of painting and overcome the scope of the picture in order to capture social space and peace. The lecture will be devoted to the personality of Pydrian as a pioneer of abstract painting.
