On December 14, he refused to eat in protest against illegal imprisonment in jail and flatly refused to take a hunger strike. “I think not only about myself, not only about my children. The hunger strike is my struggle. And the more such wrestlers will be, the faster the power will be replaced,” the opposition said. “I’m not a suicide, I’m not going to die. I am more correct: freedom or hunger strike. I don’t demand to take off my accusations. I refuse to take food until they let me go under house arrest.”

Krivov held a hunger strike for 40 days and left it on January 25. The next day, at a meeting with human rights activists , he confirmed that he had stopped a hunger strike voluntarily . “He confirms that he suspended the hunger strike by his own decision, since the initial signs of poisoning of the body were manifested and he realized that before considering his supervisory complaint, hungry would not reach,” Anna Karetnikova, a member of the Moscow Supervisory Commission, wrote after a meeting with Krivoye.

The associates in the protest movement and the Party of the RPR-Parnas repeatedly called on Krivov to stop the hunger strike. “If he really made this decision voluntarily, then we are glad that he chose a different form of struggle that was not related to the threat of health and life,” the Parnassus statement said after the end of the hunger strike.

According to the FSIN, the weight of Krivov at the time of the end of the hunger strike was 68.3 kilograms. During his stay in the pre -trial detention center, he lost at least 18 kilograms.

A 51-year-old candidate of physicomatic and mathematical sciences was detained on October 18, 2012. He was charged with participating in the riots (part 2 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code) and the application of violence against a representative of the authorities (part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). Krivov is a Parnassus activist, a participant in protest promotions, including pickets in defense of "Prisoners of Bolotnaya". Free "swamp prisoner" remained two minor children and a mother - a disabled person of the 2nd group.
