The creative center "Third Path", for twenty-two years existing in house No. 4 on Pyatnitskaya Street, may be closed due to a property dispute with a church located in the neighborhood. Artists and musicians want to save the center, the church - to destroy it.

“Do not dare to call my club in a squat, do you hear? This is not damp, it is creative, to unveil your mother, center! ” - shouted at me the head of the “third path” Borya Raskolnikov in 1996, when I asked for an interview for the magazine “Ptyuch”. He was wrong. At that time, the “third path” was very similar to the bastard: the herds of guests from morning to night, different paintings on the walls, spontaneous concerts, the front door, which is characteristic, always opened and personally closed Boris, who, in fact, lived there. But there was also a difference, which, of course, I knew: Raskolnikov did not crash his lock on the door of a half -naked empty communal apartment (as normal squaters acted at all times). He filled out all the required documents, collected all conceivable and unthinkable seals and legally, which for the 1990s was nonsense, opened a creative center in an empty apartment. This happened in the days of the August Putch of 1991. And a year later, Borya first encountered the ministers of the church of Mikhail and Fedor Chernigov, located in the neighborhood. “Kommersant” even wrote about their battle. At the same time, both parties were in their right: the arrival in the hands of the Moscow government on transferring to him for free use of the house for the construction of the Orthodox hotel, and Raskolnikov had a lease agreement with the Executive Committee of the Moskvorechy. In truth, the church parish could already evict the “third path” to two accounts. It was only necessary to provide artists and musicians with exchange options. But for some reason, the church instead unleashed a meaningless sluggish war, which had been dragging on for more than two decades.

All these years, the “third path” raised muscles. Peter Mamonov and “Sounds Mu”, Alexei Aigi and “4:33”, “Polite Refusal”, “Rumber”, “Forbidden Drummers”, “Friday”, “Ship” (you can’t mention all Bori Raskolnik, had his own musical project “FBI”) played on the Liliput stage in the hallway. The avant -garde fashion designers of the post -Soviet era - Alexander Petlyura, Andrey Bartenev, Andrey Sharov, Brothers Polushkin, Lara showed their collections there. Constantly opened, then someone’s exhibitions were closed. In parallel, Raskolnikov repelled raider attacks, stewed arson (he developed a habit - the windows overlooking the street never leave open). Several times the “third path” was frightened by the eviction of the bailiffs. But since Boris always had a complete order with the documents, hearing in the arbitration court, of course, did not lead to anything. He often repeated: "The authorities must always communicate at the level of jurisprudence, not wishes."

In 2011, Raskolnikov died. Absolutely everything-and the neighboring church, of course, was also sure that the creative center was about to close. The “third path” without him was like a body without a soul - too much was connected with the personality of Boris himself. But the young widow - Lada Raskolnikova, unexpectedly steadily took up the matter. And when on August 26, 2013 the church went on the offensive (contrary to everything, having received permission to restore the house and starting it immediately), she met a serious rebuff. “I’ve been here since the age of 18,” Lada reports in a beautiful breast voice, “this was the first club in which my parents released me. Here I fell in love, got married. How will I give all this? I will stand to the last. If they don’t kill me, of course. ” The threat of life, as she herself believes, is quite real - the apartments in this area cost millions of dollars.

Explaining the legal wrong side of the case, Lada switches to a dialect, in which notaries are usually explained: “Act of acceptance-soda”, “eviction after provision”, “structure from culture”. It turns out that the arrival of the Church of Mikhail and Fedor Chernigovsky rents an old house on Pyatnitskaya Street since 1992 - he got it after overhaul already with the “third way” inside. By law, the parish was supposed to follow the house, but twenty -one years later the roof collapsed in it. “They must compensate for the damage in the amount of the cost of repair work and go, goodbye! - Lada boils. - Because no relations with the unscrupulous user of the architectural monument are provided with Russian laws! ” Lada says that according to the documents, the Third Path is absolutely clean. “Look, here we are fully paid at the time of termination of the contract. We would have paid the rent further, but we were refused. In court, some uncle says: “You are damaged to the city without paying rent!” And I to him: “It is you that the city is damaged without taking money from us.” Although, of course, I can be here for free. We have just passed the NPO check according to the full program, the “third path” is a non -profit organization of culture and can exist on a free basis. ”

We are sitting in the living room, where in 1996 I sat with Boris. A plywood is inserted instead of glass, Lada is also afraid of arson instead of glass. The apartment has dry, cleanly and still warm (central heating was cut for a long time, and the furnaces preserved in the rooms cannot be used, because the chimney dismantled the floor above the church parish). Lada demonstrates some fragments of candelabrov, ancient window pens-all this she found in the yard in a pile of garbage after builders worked on the third floor. He says that last month, she without fear, she locked the “third path” and went where she needed: home to her 16-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter or at the Institute of Foreign Languages, where she teaches English and French. Now - is afraid: "If I go out, I will no longer enter." One of the friends is constantly on duty in the apartment: the noise musician Misha Myasoedov, the sound engineer of the Bravo group Konstantin “Dyuzharden” Ivanov, Matvey Kulakov from the Scofferlane group. A few days ago, the “third path” was visited by the leader of the Moscow branch of Yabloko Sergey Mitrokhin. He walked around, promised to figure it out, finally proposed a revolutionary path: to declare the creative center of the party headquarters of Yabloko (and even noticed a place on the facade for the footbread). For the “third path”, of course, “Arkhnadzor” stood up, decomposing all the illegality of the church’s actions on the shelves. Lada wrote an online pattern to Sergey Sobyanin with a request to "stop the illegal eviction of the legendary creative center" Third Path "." If by the end of the week ten thousand signatures are typing - well, no - it means that the petition of Sobyanin will be sent as is. There is a chance that the creative center, which survived Yeltsin and lasted longer than Luzhkov, will still live to better times. But the most pleasant thing in this whole story is that the “third path” did not freeze in a mournful expectation, like a mausoleum, but continues to live his cheerful underground life. According to Lada, before the onset of cold weather, it will be necessary to hold the festival of avant -garde composers in the “third path”. Whoever treats the avant -garde, she invites everyone. The date will be announced a little later - perhaps already at the end of the week.
