The founder and permanent leader of the famous British forecast of the King Crimson group Robert Fripp collects it again.
According to The Guardian , the news of the reconstruction of King Crimson recently appeared among many other records in the Frippa online day, and the page is much earlier, on September 6. The news was also confirmed by the Discipline Global Mobile Frippe.
The new composition of the group, as happened more than once in its 45-year history, will radically differ from the previous one. It will have seven musicians - four British and three Americans. This is Robert Fripp (guitar), Gavin Harrison (shock), Mel Collins (saxophone), Jackko Jacksic (guitar), Tony Levin (BAS), Pat Mastelotto (drums) and Bill Raffin (drums).
Although each of these musicians performed Fripp at different times, not everyone played in King Crimson . The drummer Rafflin is most famous for the work with the REM. Jackko Jacksic performed the classic King Crimson hits in the 21st Century Schizoid Band group. But the biggest surprise is the return of the saxophonist Mela Collins, who has not played King Crimson since 1974.
The musicians will begin rehearsals in the near future, and the first concert in the new composition of King Crimson will take place exactly one year later, in September 2014.
